Governance of Small Grants

The Centre for Public Engagement Small Grants are a monthly scheme developed to enable Queen Mary staff and students the opportunity to deliver small-scale projects that engage the public with University research, teaching, or core business.

The CPE is committed to ensuring our public engagement funding schemes are transparent and equitable. As part of this, we have our Small Grants Funding Panel-- made up of representatives from across Queen Mary-- who work with the CPE to make decisions about funding allocation.

Members of the Funding Panel provide expert reviews of the proposals submitted to the scheme as part of a peer-review panel process. Upon completion of the panel review, the CPE uses the decisions of the panel to award Small Grants to projects.
