Public Engagement

Large Grants

The CPE Large Grants scheme provides opportunities for QMUL staff and students to develop public engagement projects, linked to QMUL research, teaching or core business. Applications are invited for any amount between £1,000 and £10,000.

The funding scheme aims to increase opportunities for members of the public to engage in mutually beneficial two-way dialogue with QMUL staff and students, in London, the UK and/or internationally.

Successful past applications cover a wide variety of types of engagement, from involving local communities in conservation based research to building collaborative projects between researchers and artists, from programmes of outreach activity to participatory research techniques.

The 2018 round will open on 14 August and close 25 September 2018. The applications will be reviewed by our panel and feedback sent to all applicants by mid-October.
