Entry requirements

Home students

For a single honours Politics degree, entry requirements are a minimum of an A,B,B (320 points) from three Advanced GCE awards (A2s).

Joint honours requirements vary according to requirements of the School.  In general study to A2 level in Government/Politics is encouraged but not required, though examination in a related social science or history is normally expected. Advanced GNVQs (6 units) in lieu of one or more A2 awards will be considered.  (For further information please visit the following School web sites; Economics, Geography, History, Law and Languages)

International Baccalaureate - 34 points or above with scores of 5,5,5 or above in Higher Level subjects.
