Profile

The Mile End Institute (MEI) connects research, policy-making and public debate to deepen and challenge the understanding of British politics, governance and public policy. The mission of the Mile End Institute is to leverage its unique location within a Russell Group university situated in London’s super-diverse East End to bring together politicians, policymakers, academics, the public, and the QM community, to debate – inclusively and in-depth – the major challenges facing the country and its capital in a fast-moving world.

Sofia is responsible for:

  • Working alongside the Institute’s Director in developing and implementing the MEI strategy.
  • Identifying partnerships, stakeholders and funders.
  • Planning the Institute’s events programme.
  • The marketing and online profile of the MEI.
