Research Interests: Queer and trans studies; International Relations theory; World Systems-Analysis; Discourse theory; histories of revolution and resistance

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • BA in History and Politics at the University of Oxford
  • MSc in International Relations Theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

Work Experience:

Prior to joining Queen Mary, Alex worked as Platform Research Manager at Apolitical, a peer-to-peer learning platform for government. He also has experience in research roles at the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law, and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.
