THE reports on Professor Bale’s recent move from the University of Sussex to Queen Mary. He comments that while it was a difficult decision to leave his post at Sussex, QM’s location in the capital - "where the political action is" - was a big draw. Professor Bale adds that he is "keen to do more work with practitioners: not only politicians, but also people in 'para-political' fields at thinktanks, opinion research, public affairs and pressure groups".
Professor Tim Bale has also spoken to Reuters this week on whether modest economic improvement in the UK will cancel out Cameron's negative press.
