Mortician Caitlin Doughty, co-organiser of our hugely popular 'Death Salon UK' and creator of the YouTube series "Ask A Mortician" returns to Barts Pathology Museum to discuss her New York Times bestseller "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes: And Other Lessons from the Crematorium."

It's fascinating look at the funeral industry and an exploration of how we deal with death and our dead from a young feisty, funny and fearless mortician.

Join Caitlin for this evening event during which she will read from the book. You will also have a chance to purchase the paperback and take part in a Q&A, facilitated by the museum's Technical Curator and fellow 'mortician' Carla Valentine.
