Pre-Arrival Newsletters

Essential and useful information will be sent out to you via Countdown Newsletter which are emailed to you fortnightly. You should already be receiving these emails. If you are not receiving these, please advise us on

Arrivals Weekend

Study Abroad and Erasmus+ students who are living on campus should arrive on Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th September. You will receive full details of how to check into your accommodation prior to your arrival via your Countdown Newsletters. There will be events and campus tours taking place over the weekend should you wish to attend. Further details will be provided prior to your arrival. Students not living on campus should arrive in time for the Welcome Programme on Monday 16th September. Please note, some students may be required to arrive earlier if requested by their home university or programme provider.

Airport Collection

Free airport collection will be provided from London Heathrow Airport on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September should you wish to use this service. Full details and information on how to book this will be sent out in August.

Welcome Programme

The Welcome Programme will take place on Monday 16th September and Tuesday 17th September. It is essential that you attend. We will share information on London, studying at Queen Mary, Modules and the Add/drop period, support services and other essential information. Full details of location and times will be sent via your Countdown Newsletters prior to arrival.


You will receive an email prior to arrival requesting that you pre-enrol and book an in-person enrolment slot to become a student at Queen Mary. Please note we will send out full details prior to your arrival.
