Join us for an exciting evening of music as the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra and Queen Mary BL Orchestra take turns performing a diverse programme featuring works by Bernstein, Weber, Hopekirk, and Tchaikovsky.
The QMBL Orchestra, a collaboration between the Mile End Music Society and Barts and the London Music Society, conducted by Frank Zielhorst, will present Weber’s Euryanthe Overture, Hopekirk’s Legende pour Orchestre, and movements from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. The Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra will then perform Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and Bernstein’s Dances from West Side Story.
