Javier Sajuria is a Lecturer in Politics at Queen Mary. He joined in 2017 after having previously worked at Newcastle University, University of Strathclyde, and UCL.
He obtained his MSc and PhD from the Department of Political Science, University College London. He also holds a law degree (J.D.) from PUC Chile. He has worked in the Parliamentary Candidates UK initiative, surveying candidates for the 2015 and 2017 elections. He is also currently leading a research on candidates for the 2017 Chilean election. His research interests span from electoral behaviour, social media and politics, and quantitative methods for social research.
