Dr Stephen Muirhead is a Lecturer in Mathematics and member of the Probability and Applications Group. His research interests include the geometric properties of Gaussian fields and other spatial noise, the spatial structure of random permutations, and localisation phenomena in random walks in random potential and trapping landscapes.
Dr Muirhead holds a PhD in Mathematics from University College London and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining QMUL, Dr Muirhead held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oxford and King's College London.
