Wai Yin Yeung, a PhD student in Statistics, was selected by the Quantitative Sciences Division within GlaxoSmithKline(link is external) (GSK) UK Limited to present a poster at its internal one-day conference in Uxbridge, Middlesex, on 13 October 2011.
She was one of only four students nationwide to receive full funding from GSK to attend the conference. The topic of her poster was imbalance properties of randomisation schemes for several treatments in clinical trials.
