Disability and Dyslexia

The School welcomes applications from people with health conditions and disabilities. We have a strong system of student support and anyone with a health condition or disability will be offered appropriate adjustments to help them succeed. Our QMUL Malta campus is also fully accessible, with induction loops installed in lecture theatres.

Our Academic and Pastoral Support Office offers advice, guidance and practical support to students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia.

This support may include screening students for dyslexia and organising formal educational psychologists’ assessments, arranging individual tutorials from specialist dyslexia tutors, and additional time in exams. More details are available from the Academic and Pastoral Support Office. Students are encouraged to contact the Service before starting their programmes to discuss any specific needs.

If you have a disability or health condition, you should seek advice from us as early as possible.
