The LSI and Barts Pathology Museum are holding an evening event to explore the past and future of life sciences. Showcasing specimens from the Museum, including examples of the shocking effect of radium pellets used to treat a rodent ulcer, Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumours and more, the event will show how significant advances have been made in this field and outline QMUL’s vision of the future for life sciences. The event will include an interactive element using smartphone technology and will be followed by a drinks reception.
