20 January 2016
Time: 1:00 - 2:00pm
Venue: EB1, Queen’s Building, Mile End
The next LSI Computational Biology workshop will be on Wednesday 20 January, 13.00-14.00 hrs at Mile End. The workshops are designed to bring together people from across QMUL to discuss computational biology in an informal setting.
The agenda will be:
1. News and announcements (open mic for anyone who wants to announce anything)
2. Short talk about eMedLab (www.emedlab.ac.uk) from Mike Barnes (WHRI)
3. Short talk from Trevor Graham (BCI) about mathematical modelling in tumour biology
4. Networking over refreshments
Professor Conrad Bessant and Dr Claude Chelala would like to thank all those who attended for supporting the first LSI computational biology workshop, which was held on 16 December and was attended by more than 45 people. This is great evidence of the interest in computational biology across QMUL.
The workshops will be held on a monthly basis and are open to anyone at QMUL with an interest in computational biology, be they staff or students, so please feel free to pass this invitation to anyone you feel may be interested. Please email email@example.com for more details.
