20 July 2016
Time: 1:00 - 2:00pm
Venue: Lister Young Seminar Room, John Vane Science Centre, Charterhouse Square
The next LSI Computational Biology workshop will be on Wednesday 20 July, 13.00-14.00 hrs at Charterhouse Square. The workshops are designed to bring together people from across QMUL to discuss computational biology in an informal setting.
There will be two presentations:
- Update/discussion on the LSI new Centre for Computational Biology (Claude Chelala and Conrad Bessant)
- Bioinformatics at Genomics England (Dr Augusto Rendon, Director of Bioinformatics, Genomics England)
Lunch will be provided.
These events, organised by Professor Conrad Bessant and Dr Claude Chela, are proving very popular, and show how much interest there is in computational biology across QMUL.
The workshops are normally held on a monthly basis, but will be bi-monthly over the summer. They are open to anyone at QMUL with an interest in computational biology, be they staff or students, so please feel free to pass this invitation to anyone you feel may be interested. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
