Browsing e-journals and databases

Whilst Library Search allows you to search for individual articles within journals, it doesn't enable you to search by journal title. If you want to know if we subscribe to a particular journal or database use the links below the Library Search box on the homepage, or in the top navigation menu of Library Search.

You will need your ITS username and password to access the E-journals list when off-campus.

The E-journals list allows you to search for a specific title, or browse by subject area.

Each journal record will give details of the availability and links through to the journal page where you can browse the contents and access full text.

BrowZine

BrowZine is a platform that allows you search, browse and keep track of the scholarly journals available in the Library's e-journal collection.

Journals are presented in a visual style and allow you to browse content pages from different journal issues within a single platform.

To start using BrowZine:

  • Go to the Library homepage and choose the BrowZine link
  • Search for a journal by title, ISSN or subject. Or browse by subject area
  • Select a journal and navigate to the year / volume / issue
  • Content pages are provided for each issue of a journal and include options to link, save and export citations for articles.

Use the 'My Bookshelf’ function to save favorite titles, article links, organize journals into lists and keep track of new and unread articles. To use the ‘My Bookshelf’ function, select the ‘sign up’ option and create an individual username and password.
