Library Search is divided between the ‘Books, e-books and DVDs’ and ‘Articles and more’ searches.
'Books, e-books and DVDs' is the default and searches print collections, E-books, DVDs/Blu-rays/Video, other physical items held in the libraries and Queen Mary Research Online.
'Articles and more' searches all most of our electronic collections, resources from the institutional repository, Queen Mary Research Online and can be used to search citations from some external databases (if you expand your search using the ‘advanced search’ option to include non-full text items)
The search box offers basic and advanced options.
The basic search is wide ranging and allows you to discover material relating to a subject. The search can be refined using the options on the left of the result page.
The advanced search allows you to search for specific titles and articles and add refinements at an earlier stage.
You can search for specific journals by title or subject using the E-Journals by Subject page and databases on the A-Z Databases page.
