New Library Services Platform (LSP)
On Monday 24th August, we started the final preparations to migrate to our new Library Services Platform (LSP), providing a new, modern interface to search our collections and manage your library account.
Over the coming days, we will be migrating account and loans data which will cause some disruption to library accounts, lending services, as well as data accuracy in the library discovery/search systems. Below is further information on which services will be impacted, and how this might affect you.

Thursday 27th August - Tuesday 1st September
Borrowing will be moved to manual issue at our Welcome Desks, Click + Collect will continue at Mile End Library; however, library accounts will not be updated with new loans information until after LSP has gone live.
Access and discovery of electronic and physical collections will continue via Library Discovery (Summon) as normal until we switch to the new Library Search service (see below).
Please note. Due to manual issue of items through Click + Collect, loans information on your library account, and availability of some items may display incorrectly during this period.
Wednesday 2nd September - Friday 4th September
Borrowing will resume as normal and library accounts will be updated
Access and discovery of electronic and physical collections will switch to the new Library Search (Encore).

Stability testing will continue during this time to ensure the platform is functioning as expected, as a result you may experience issues with accessing your library account and completeness of information.
