#QMReady podcast series

Produced as a collaboration between Academic Skills Enhancement and members of the Queen Mary Students' Union Executive Team, the #QMReady podcast series is designed to get you ready for the new academic year. In each episode, students and academic staff share their experiences and advice about one of the main challenges of academic life, such as referencing and critical thinking.

Episode 1: I Wish I Knew

This episode is all about thinking back to things people wish they knew when starting at Queen Mary. You will hear a number of testimonials from various people across the university, pondering the question: What do I wish I knew?

This episode focuses on students’ experiences with peer learning in each of Queen Mary’s three faculties. You’ll hear about using criticism to elevate performances in Drama, an astrophysic student's experience with the array of cultures at QM and how to keep cool under pressure from two medical students. We also learn about the great resources QM has to support peer learning.

Episode 7: On the Clock

This episode will be centred around time management techniques and procrastination. You will hear tips and advice from a couple guests based on their experiences and the importance of effective time management.
