Silver cup with the inscription: “To R.D. West. From his Colleagues on the Executive of The People's Palace Horticultural Society in appreciation of his Unselfish and Untiring Efforts. Oct 30th 1913.”
The People’s Palace had many clubs and societies including the East London Horticultural Society, People's Palace Engineering Society, Choral and Orchestral Society, and Social and Athletics Club.
