Professor Stefano Manacorda, BA University of Naples, LLM University Paris and PhD University of Florence
Stefano Manacorda is full professor of Criminal law at the Università della Campania and visiting professor at the Queen Mary University School of Law.
He has been visiting professor and visiting scholar in several universities: among others, at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Humboldt University of Berlin, SciencePo Paris, Collège de France, University of Geneva, Università Bocconi di Milano.
He graduated at the Università di Napoli Federico II (1991) and holds a Master degree from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (1993), a Master degree from the Università di Napoli (1994) as well as a Phd from the Università di Firenze (1997).
He is a member of the executive committee of the International Association of Criminal Law, and seats in the board of SIDS, ISPAC, ARPE, AIDP Italian Group. He is member of the editorial board or of the editorial committee of the following journals: Journal of International Criminal Justice, Revue de Science Criminelle, New Journal of European Criminal Law, Rivista Italiana di Diritto e Procedura Penale, Cahiers de Défense Sociale.
He is qualified as a barrister in Italy and he acts regularly as a consultant in several complex cases involving corporate and individual offences both in Italy and abroad. He deals extensively with corporate criminal liability, anticorruption policies, multiple jurisdiction cases, judicial cooperation, ne bis in idem. He also serves as an expert in criminal cases involving the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice.
His research interests are currently focussed on Business Criminal Law and European and International Criminal Law.

Stefano is regularly consulted in criminal policy matters in Italy (as a member of the governmental commissions on Corporate criminal liability, on Judicial cooperation and on Cultural heritage crimes) and he acted as an expert in the framework of several international organizations (United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime, Word Bank, European Commission, International Criminal Court, United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute), namely in the fields of anticorruption policies, penal protection of cultural heritage, establishment of a European public prosecutor.
