Visiting Professor of International Law


Olufemi Elias teaches International Environmental Law and the Law of Treaties on the LLM, and has written widely on various aspects of public international law. Formerly a lecturer at King's College London, he has worked as Legal Adviser at the United Nations Compensation Commission and is currently Senior Legal Officer at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, The Netherlands. Professor Elias  has been appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations as an UN Assistant Secretary-General and the Registrar of the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals’
