What influenced your decision to choose a LLM at Queen Mary?
Queen Mary University has one of the best law schools in the country and so studying here was an easy decision for me.
How did you find the teaching and learning?
The professors are probably the best in their fields which gives an added lift to the experience especially now during a pandemic. They did their best to make sure we had a good and fruitful experience.
What was key about your programme/were there any highlights?
I was able to choose any module, which gave me an advantage in studying subjects I never had before. Also participating in qLegal was exciting!
Did you combine modules across specialisations and if so, what were the advantages of this?
Yes, since I was pursuing General LLM or LLM Laws I was able to combine all modules.
What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?
Queen Mary University is a great place to study, you meet some wonderful people (professors and students alike) and it gives you the opportunity to experience life in a world-class city like London.
Has gaining a deeper understanding of your specialisation helped your career?
Yes, it definitely has.
What was your best experience of studying at Queen Mary?
There are so many! Being part of qLegal, being the course rep (embracing leadership roles during a pandemic was challenging but I had a good time and met some wonderful people!)
