Profile

Olga Simson, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Kharkiv, Ukraine). At the moment she is a Fellowship Researcher in Queen Mary University (London, UK). During 2022 she also conducted research and gave lectures at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) of Strasbourg University (Strasbourg, France) and SWPS University (Warsaw, Poland).

In 2016, Olga founded Institute of Law, Technologies and Innovations (ILTI) - the first legal company in Ukraine, which provided specialized educational and legal services for startups and representatives of creative industries. She is also the founder and CSO of the startup V-Art Corp., a developer of a protocol for managing intellectual property rights and digital assets (NFTs) on the blockchain.

She has repeatedly participated as a key expert in USAID, EU, UCF, USF grant projects, was a member of several working groups on the development of legislation in the field of education, science and technology and an adviser to the Head of the State Agency on Science, Innovation and Informatization. She is the chief editor and developer of the Art Marketing Guide with the participation of British experts.
