Professor Valsamis Mitsilegas took part in the inaugural session of the Commission-funded expert Group on EU Criminal Policy held in Brussels on 19 June 2012. The Group consists of 20 members from both academia and practice and its constitution was welcomed by Justice Commissioner and Commission Vice-President Ms Viviane Reding.
