A new book “Schwarz on Tax Treaties” by Jonathan Schwarz (Visiting Professorial Fellow) was published by CCH (Wolters Kluwer) in May 2009. It is the definitive analysis of tax treaties from a UK perspective and provides in-depth expert analysis on the interpretation and interaction of the UK’s network of double tax treaties with EC and UK tax law. This book significantly expands on the author’s 2001 work and is updated to include the latest UK tax treaty developments, European Community law and the 2008 OECD Model Convention along with related cases and legislation. It is published along with “CCH Annotated Double Tax Treaties 2009” of which Jonathan Schwarz is consulting editor.
