Sanofi-CCLS Finance Case Law Student Competition

Thanks to collaboration between Sanofi and the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, we are pleased to announce the launch of the first Sanofi-CCLS/QMUL Student Competition. In this competition, students will analyse a finance law case study.

The winner will be awarded £500 by QMUL.

The competition is open to all Queen Mary University of London students currently enrolled on any of the following programmes:

The judges - a three member panel combining CCLS academics and the Head of Finance Law at Sanofi, Mr Alexander de Daranyi - are looking for an innovative, structured, concise, persuasive and a well written presentation; the presentation should contain a proposed action plan. Submissions are individual. The judges will select three finalists (best three submissions), who will be required to present in front of the panel of judges and an audience.

Presentations, Case Resolution and Winner’s Announcement will take place on Thursday 30 April 2015 at 18:30hs in the CCLS Lecture Theatre. At the beginning of the session, the judges will shortlist three finalists based on their submissions. Each of the selected finalists will have 15 minutes to present in front of a panel of judges and peers. Presentations will be followed by the case resolution by the Head of Finance Law at Sanofi, Mr Alexander de Daranyi. The winner will be announced during a drinks reception to be held at the end of the session.

Case Resolution Presentations on 30 April 2015

Even if you have not submitted a presentation for the competition, you are welcome to attend the case resolution as a member of the audience. This event is free for CCLS/QMUL students but prior registration via Eventbrite is required.
