Insurance in Latin America Market and Practice Views

15 July 2016

Time: 5:00 - 6:30pm
Venue: Room 3.1, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, 69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3JB

Latin American is a large market for insurance products, however economic and political instability as well as diverse insurance regulations have created barriers to deeper market participation by international insurance companies and the development of national insurers.

The seminar “Insurance in Latin America - Market and Practice Views” aims to establish a critical dialogue between underwriters, brokers, insurance law practitioners, academics and students regarding the development of the Insurance Market in Latin America, its current difficulties and future opportunities. The event will be structured by presentations and discussions between a “table” of authorities and the audience.

After the seminar, a drinks reception will provide the appropriate space for networking and discussion among the members of the table and the audience.
