The Energy Law Institute, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London is holding its 5th Annual Lecture sponsored by Clifford Chance. The lecture will be delivered by The Rt Hon Claire O’Neill, President of COP26 and former Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

About the Energy Law Institute

The ELI provides a focus for the development of energy and natural resources law, the training of energy lawyers through its specialist LLMs in Energy and Natural Resources Law programmes in Paris and London, and the promotion of a broader understanding of this important sector. James Dallas, Executive Director of the Institute, notes "Our aim is to provide a first class student experience; with world class teaching and a broad curriculum, anchored in the real world of the sector". Our teaching philosophy is “to blend academic and practitioner rigour”. We work with leading international law firms, energy companies and energy consultancies.
