The School of International Arbitration has the pleasure of inviting you to a Conversation with Professor Julian Lew. The conversation will be conducted by Audley Sheppard QC, and it is part of the Oral History Project of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration which is designed to record the evolution of modern international arbitration in the words of those who have led it.

Professor Julian Lew QC, is the founder and head of the School of International Arbitration at CCLS, since its creation in 1985, and has been involved with international arbitration for more than 40 years as one of the leading academics, counsel and arbitrators in the field. He is a full time Arbitrator at Twenty Essex Chambers.

 

Audley Sheppard QC, is a partner in the London office of Clifford Chance LLP and the global co-head of the firm’s international arbitration group. He is a vice president of the LCIA Court and a visiting professor at the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London.

The interview will be followed by a drinks reception.
