The Institute of Global Law, Economics and Finance (IGLEF) of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London organises, in partnership with two of the leading universities in China, Renmin University Law School and Tsinghua University Law School, the 3rd Annual Sino-UK Conference on Commercial Law and Corporate Law in London on the 10 June 2016. . The aim of the conference is to bring together the academic community with the legal practice and policy makers in UK and China. Leading academics, partners from major international law firms and leading Chinese law firms will attend. The topics of this conference will revolve around M&A law and hostile takeovers, insolvency law as well as competition law, exploring the more recent challenges presented by these areas of law in UK and China.
