About the Role

We’re looking for a Website Product Manager to be working with stakeholders across the institution to lead the assessment, scoping and planning of web development activities. The postholder will translate the development needs into technical requirements that the Web Development team can implement. Using this information, the Website Product Manager will then plan team time and actions to support timely and effective delivery of tasks and projects.

The Website Product Manager will work in partnership with the content team to conduct discovery phases for projects becoming the expert on the technical aspects of user journey planning and information architecture within the Queen Mary web environment. The Website Product Manager will use and share website data to guide team thinking and support our stakeholders as the web team maintains and improves the Queen Mary website.

This role will report to the Head of Web Development, there is one Senior Web Developer, one Web Developer, and will be responsible of one Web Development Officer and one Web Support Officer.

You will join a forward-thinking solution focused Web team within the Marketing and Communications Directorate. Our directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants. We collaborate with stakeholders, we support staff, students and prospective students to achieve more.

The post is based at Whitechapel in London. It is full time permanent appointment, with an immediate start date. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,733 - £40,797 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
