About us

Our mission is to contribute to the knowledge and reduction of deep-seated health inequalities in societies within a globalised world. We aim to do so through our critical and comprehensive teaching and learning programmes, by conducting research on pressing global health challenges, engaging with communities, policymakers, practitioners and civil society, and advocating for change in high-, middle- and low-income countries. Our work is informed by values that adhere to the principles of social justice, transparency and professional integrity, and draws from our diverse staff’s expertise and experience across a range of health and social sciences disciplines.
