Centre Lead: Reverend Professor Sandra Eldridge
Research includes pragmatic trials and other clinical evaluative research, methodological exploration and innovation to improve such research. Staff also undertake methodological and applied research in cluster randomised trials and stepped wedge designs, pilot and feasibility studies, trials using cohorts and routine health data, and best practice in the design, analysis and reporting of trials medical statistics, health economics and policy.
The Centre hosts the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit, Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research Methodology Platform and the east London arm of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Research Design Service
