- Brandos Atestatas (Certificate of Maturity)
Our exact requirements depend on the course that you are applying for, but this is QMUL’s equivalency table for GCE A-Levels and the Lithuanian Brandos Atestatas:

Students whose grades do not meet our minimum requirements may be considered for entry onto one of our Foundation Programmes.

Undergraduate Medicine and Dentistry Admissions

Please note, the Brandos Atestatas is not accepted for admission to either our MBBS or BDS programmes delivered in London (but it is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes).
However, the Brandos Atestatas is accepted for admission to our MBBS programme delivered in the Republic of Malta. Please click here for more information.
Taught Degrees (MA, MSc etc.)
Students that apply to one of our Master degree courses are normally expected to have achieved an Upper Second Class bachelor degree, however some courses will also accept a Lower Second Class classification.

We are also pleased to also consider students if they have obtained a Lithuanian Bachelor Degree / Bakalauro Diplomas / Master Degree / Magistro Diplomas.

Students are considered on an individual basis, but some Lithuanian degrees that are taught in English can potentially be accepted as proof of English proficiency, and can be accepted instead of IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge/Pearson etc.
Research degrees (MPhil/PhD)
Competitive applications to our postgraduate research degree programmes will include high overall grades achieved in their Master degree.
