Fudan University is one of the best universities in China, which is located in Shanghai. The 4-week summer session offers 24 content courses taught in English, 2 Chinese language courses at different levels. You can find the full list of courses here.

For FISS 2022, there will be 12 onsite courses and 14 online courses. Please note that the program office will re-evaluate the situation right before the program starts (the end of March) to make sure that face-to-face teaching is feasible. If the pandemic continues to circulate, all offline courses will be converted to online live via Zoom. However, our judgment is face-to-face teaching at Fudan campus in July 2022 is highly likely.


The timeline of the program is as follows:

  • Application deadline is June 15;
  • Course enrollment system will be open in May.
  • Tuition payments will be made from April to June 30.
  • Courses will start on July 04 and end on July 29.

Last summer, in responding to and learning from the immense uncertainty and challenges to the world brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, HUST initiated the first Tongji Summer Program (TSP2021) with 3 courses on epidemiology delivered by renowned experts in public health. This year, we are delighted to be hosting the 2022 Tongji Summer School (TJSS2022) from July 11 to August 5 for 4 weeks, offering 9 courses delivered by 13 professors from prestigious universities and institutes all over the world. The Hong Kong University Summer Institute present their Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities (SIAH) 2022. They offer a selected series of credit-bearing courses across the subjects of English Studies, Comparative Literature, Global Creative Industries, History and Philosophy. In most of the courses, students are able to learn the disciplines of arts and humanities integrating with digital technologies. We also offer courses for English enhancement for students who want to advance their English writing and reading skills. All of the courses will be taught online, and English is the teaching medium.

BINUS University will be organizing the International Community Development Program (ICDP 2022) from August 21 to 27, 2022. The program will be organized onsite at BINUS University campuses in Jakarta and Malang, Indonesia. The participants will have a firsthand experience of Indonesian culture, stay with the local people in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, for three days, and work on a community service project using design-thinking during the program.

BINUS University is delighted to invite your students to the ICDP 2022. The program fees include classroom sessions, domestic flights Jakarta–Malang–Jakarta, accommodation, and breakfasts for seven days, local airport transfers, cultural trips, and visas. The roundtrip airfares from the home country to Jakarta will be at the students' own expense.

On campus and Online: July 07–22, 2022

General Information

The Brazilian Seminars developed by PUC-Rio is an international summer school which provides students, young scholars and international administrators with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about Brazil.

It’s an interdisciplinary program meant to give a broad perspective of Brazilian issues which are currently in the global scenario.

The 2022 edition will be offered both on campus and online.
Lectures will be recorded and will be available for a limited time for all participants.

On campus program – 60h:

The academic component in class has 52h divided in a core section of 46h, that is mandatory for all the students, and 2 different modules of 6h each, from which participants can choose.

  • Module 1 - Environmental issues and energy
  • Module 2 - Business and Entrepreneurship

Technical visits (8h) are offered to promote the encounter of the academic theory with the real life of companies and entrepreneurs located in Rio. Students will have the chance to interact with people in management position providing significant insights about doing business in Brazil.

Cultural and social activities will complement the Brazilian experience.

It is possible to combine the on campus Brazilian Seminars program with 20h or 40h of Portuguese language.

  • Program tuition: R$ 8750,00 (Brazilian Reais)

Online Program – 52h:

The online program will have the same load of academic activities: 52h divided in a core section of 46h, that is mandatory for all the students, and 2 different modules of 6h each, from which participants can choose.

The classes will be broadcasted in real time (synchronous sessions) so that participants can interact with the lecturer and other attendees.

NO technical visits, cultural and/or social activities will be offered remotely.

The idea of offering the program both onsite and online in real time is to promote the interaction of participants that are not only in the classroom, but from all over the globe. This cultural diversified setting shall stimulate a melting pot of different ideas and points of view, that will reverberate in the discussions that will take place during the lectures.

Many students who were looking forward to attending an exchange or wanting to get some experience studying overseas were not able to due to lockdowns or border closures.


Responding to the demand for accessible international experiences, UWA has adapted our well regarded research training program to an online format, the Summer Down Under Research Internship (SDU:RI).


Summer Down Under Research Internship (SDU:RI)

This eight-week Research Internship program consists of both coursework and research, providing an opportunity for high-performing students, who are considering a postgraduate degree, to get an insider's look at UWA’s research specialities, meet and work with a potential future supervisor and experience the richness of Australian culture. This program is worth 12 UWA credit points or 15 with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).


The next offering of this program will be from 4 July - 26 Aug 2021. The coursework components will be taught in the first 3 weeks. To accommodate time zone differences, we will be recording all coursework sessions so that students can listen to them asynchronously. Project meetings will be organised with the supervisor at a mutually convenient time.

Research Skills Fundamentals (RSF)

ESCOM still have places on their summer school course entitled Chemistry and Formulation in Cosmetics!

It will be held from June 20th to July 8th, 2022 on our local site in Compiègne (France), one-hour from Paris and 30 minutes from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport.

The content is fully delivered in English (granting 6 ECTS) and allows students to acquire advanced knowledge on current issues and techniques relating to formulation and cosmetics thanks to conferences from academic and industrial partners, lab works and field trips in cosmetics and perfumes/fragrances/flavours companies. We can already announce the participation of companies like L’Oréal, Solvay, Takasago, Seppic, LVMH, Metarom and we are waiting for more industrial participants.

Bocconi are now accepting applications for Bocconi Summer School 2022:

Bocconi Summer School 2022 for International University Students (students from non-Italian universities) will be held from 27 June to 15 July 2022.

Four courses will be held on campus in Milan and three will be held online, and are each worth 6 credit points upon completing the course and passing the final exam. The online programme combines academics with the Summer School key features, including guest speakers and classroom interaction, allowing students to practice their digital skills, build their network and get a virtual taste of our teaching and community.

Two applications rounds are available and students from QMUL can benefit from the reduced early bird fee (€1,200) regardless of the application round.

Students will explore singularities, similarities and remarkable differences, which will help them to understand whether ther is one recipe for political survival and economic success, or if there are many different development paths. The course will examine which historical, sociological and political factors have to be taken into account when explaining a country's success. This will also help to understand why countries react differently to crises such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
