GO Summer

This programme offers our students the chance to spend time at one of our partner institutions over the summer on a language, academic or cultural immersion programme.

Students interested in applying for a funded opportunity must do so via the Global Opportunities office. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us summerschool@qmul.ac.uk.

To be notified when a new opportunity becomes available, sign up to our mailing list.

Click here to complete our online application form.

How to apply:

  1. Choose a programme: We have opportunities that become available throughout the year and they are advertised on a rolling basis. As such, the application deadline for each programme varies. If there is a country that you are interested in specifically, send us an email to summerschool@qmul.ac.uk and we will be able to advise.
  2. Check that you meet the eligibility criteria: Most of our opportunities are open to all Queen Mary students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. However, we occasionally advertise opportunities that may have some specific eligibility criteria, e.g. an opportunity that may only be open to students within the School of Law. Before making an application, please check that eligibility criteria to ensure that you meet the requirements.
  3. Complete our online application form: Click the link above to access our online application form. To support your application you will need to supply us with a personal statement of no more than 400 words. We aim to notify students with the outcome of their application on week commencing May 2nd 2022.
  4. If successful... You may need to fill out a second application form for the university hosting the programme. If you are required to choose a specific course/module for the programme, you will need to specify it at this stage.

For full information about the GO Summer opportunities, please consult our funding page.

If you have any questions about the application process or the opportunities on offer, send an email to summerschool@qmul.ac.uk.
