The International Exchange Programme allows you to spend part of your undergraduate degree abroad at one of our partner universities outside Europe. Hear what our students have to say about their experiences in our videos, or visit our blog to find out what studying on the IEP is like.
You can apply to any one of our partner universities, as long as they have an agreement with your academic school or department. You can choose to study abroad for a semester of for a full academic year.
You should check with your department whether your year abroad will be an additional year in your programme.
Students who wish to spend a year abroad on exchange may be required to transfer to a four year degree programme. The year abroad would be in Year Three of this four year programme. Students already enrolled on a Four Year Integrated Masters programme that does not include a Year abroad would need to transfer to a five year degree.
Please consult with your academic department for information on how you will be able to study abroad during your degree programme at QMUL.
