Established in 1906, Pace University is a private university in the USA ranked the #1 private, four-year college in the United States for driving upward economic mobility (more information available here). A majority of Pace’s student body identify as BIPOC, close to 30% of Pace students are from low-income families eligible for Pell grants, and close to 40% identify as the first in their family to go to college. Pace curates a vibrant campus life for students where they may experience either the most dynamic city in the U.S. at their Manhattan campus or a more traditional college campus experience in Pleasantville. Pace has two campuses, the main one of which is located in New York City (USA) with the secondary campus located in Pleasantville (Westchester County), in New York State. Exchange students generally attend the New York City campus.

The level of competitiveness (Less competitive * / Competitive ** / Very competitive ***) refers to one's chances of being allocated an exchange space at this partner. This is an approximation determined by the number of applications received for this destination during the last academic year versus the total number of exchange spaces available to Queen Mary students.
Courses in Pace’s School of Performing Arts (recently renamed “Sands College of Performing Arts”) and in the Film and Screen Studies Department are not open to Exchange students.
International exchange students register alongside Pace students for classes across all schools, and they can enroll in just about everything – as long as (a) they meet the prerequisites, and (b) there is room in the class when they register.

Students need to register for the undergraduate full courseload at Pace, which is 4 Pace modules per semester, equivalent to 12-16 Pace credits.

Important: space is limited and not guaranteed for exchange students. Housing requests are considered on a first come, first served basis, alongside Pace's domestic student population (international exchange students are given no priority over full-degree students). However, the ISS team tries to assist visiting students as much as possible. If international exchange students meet the (earlier) deadline for housing, Pace tries to accommodate them in housing on campus, but no guarantees can be made. It should be noted that many students chose to live off campus.
Private accommodation: Due to the size and popularity of New York City as a global destination, finding secure and affordable private accommodation is competitive and challenging year round, especially at the start of the academic year. Queen Mary students who intend to look for private accommodation are advised to follow the partner’s guidance as soon as possible to begin their accommodation search safely.
