All our ICM partner HEIs provide on-campus accommodation options or support in securing accommodation locally to their incoming Erasmus+ students. Please consult the Global Opportunities Office and the host institution's website for further information. Please note that you are responsible for all of your housing costs.
Every partner institution is different, so we recommend that after obtaining the relevant information from the GO Office and your contact at the host institution, you ask to be introduced to students who have returned from your host institution so you can discuss your options with them. Your host institution's social media can also be a useful point of information when you look for housing.
Host institutions make every effort to integrate you as an international student into local student life inside and outside of the classroom. You will also have access to all available welfare and sporting/social facilities on the same basis as any other fully enrolled student of the host institutions, regardless if you are housed on-campus or secure housing privately.
You might want to rent out your room while you are abroad. You can advertise this on Queen Mary's Student Share Notice Board. The Notice-board is designed to put our students in touch with other Queen Mary students who are looking for accommodation. You should always check with your landlord or letting agent that they are happy for you to sublet your room – subletting is often not approved and may have legal implications.
