How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website.

We also consider students from Kazakhstan with the following qualifications:

  • NIS (Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools) Grade 12 Certificate (when completed at a Nazarbayev Intellectual School)

Please note, the NIS is not accepted for admission to either our MBBS or BDS programmes (but is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes).

Postgraduate

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree or Specialist Diploma from a recognised institution.

UK 1st class degree: 3.8 out of 4.0/4.33; or 4.7 out of 5
UK 2:1 degree: 3.33 out of 4.0/4.33; or 4.0 out of 5
UK 2:2 degree: 2.67 out of 4.0/4.33; or 3.5 out of 5
