Impact and Engagement with Matthew Dodd (R3)

On 11 December the IHSS hosted BBC Radio 3’s Matthew Dodd for an informal Q&A with senior faculty members and early career scholars on the question of impact (and engagement) in academic research.

Contributions from Kimberley Freeman (Director of QMUL’s Centre for Public Engagement), Tessa Wright (Deputy Dean for Research Impact, HSS), Paul Jordan (HSS Communications Manager) and Tim Brown (Director of Education in Geography) illustrated some of the ways that QMUL scholars - in keeping with the College’s traditions - have been engaging with a range of public and other stakeholders in their work.
