Helen Bintley is a Lecturer in Clinical Skills Education at CCLSU where she runs the CCS2 module and is the lead for simulation technology teaching. She is also a doctor in women’s health in the East End of London. She has roles in assessment as the Senior Internal Examiner for year 3, is an Academic Year Tutor for year 4 and is the LGBTQ+ Champion for SMD. She also has significant roles in teaching, faculty development, scholarship, public engagement and knowledge creation across the span of the MBBS degree as well as other undergraduate and postgraduate teaching roles on affiliated courses to the MBBS degree and in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Her research interests include simulation technologies, mindfulness in medical education and LGBTQ+ healthcare education. Helen holds a PGCAP and FHEA and is currently in the last year of a Master’s degree in Clinical Education at UCL/ IOE.
