Welcome to all new undergraduate students joining us in September 2019. This page contains information about Welcome Week and links to some pages which may be of use to you prior to joining us in September.

Welcome Week

Queen Mary's Welcome Week begins on Monday 16 September 2019. It is an important time for you to meet each other, your academic advisor and get to know more about the school that you will be spending a number of years studying in. Our working timetable for the week can be found below. Please do keep checking back to this page until Welcome Week as we update the timetable and add new events.

This session is just for students on BA History and Politics (and BA History and Politics with a Year Abroad).

Attendance is expected as we welcome you into the School of History and outline your time with us. This is for all students on History degrees apart from BA History and Politics (and BA History and Politics with a Year Abroad) whos welcome talk is outlined above.

New first year student meeting with advisers and welcome back reception

Meet your academic adviser and your fellow advisees before some light drinks and snacks, which offers a chance to meet each other and socialise. Attendance at adviser meetings is expected.

With the advising group that you met the day before, you will be visiting a London location of historic importance. Further details will be sent to you in the days leading up to Welcome Week.

If you have not completed early enrollment in the days leading up to Welcome Week, this is your chance to enrol with Queen Mary, ensuring you have important documents such as an ID card and any documentation you may require.
