Dr Joseph Cronin

Teaching Associate

I'm interested in twentieth-century Central and East European history, particularly German-Jewish history, migration history, and the history of the Holocaust and its legacy. My PhD looked at Jewish immigrants from the former Soviet Union to Germany in the 1990s.

Along with teaching at Queen Mary, I'm also a researcher at the German Historical Institute London, where I'm working on a project about Jewish refugees in India during the Second World War.
