Professor Richard Bourke wins 2015 prize for best book in intellectual history

We are delighted to announce that Professor Richard Bourke has been awarded the 2015 István Hont Book Prize (link is external)  for his book Empire and Revolution: The Political Life of Edmund Burke (link is external) (Princeton University Press). The István Hont Book Prize is awarded by the Institute of Intellectual History, University of St Andrews for the best book published in intellectual history.  Professor Bourke shares this prize jointly with Professor J.G.A. Pocock  for his book Barbarism and Religion, Volume 6.Barbarism: Triumph in the West (Cambridge University Press).
