Professor Tilli Tansey OBE has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Medicine by the University of Sheffield, for her ‘outstanding achievements and distinguished career in the field of medical history’. The degree will be conferred at a ceremony in January 2016. Prof Tansey heads the History of Modern Biomedicine (link is external) Research group.
