Professor Barbara Taylor has been named among the top 100 most influential disabled people in the UK, by the Disability News Service (link is external), which specialises in disability issues. The list examines how disabled people in the public eye exert their influence on how we think, feel and live. It is hoped that the names on the list will eventually seep into the mainstream and act as a database of disabled talent, and provide role models for the next generation of disabled influencers.
