Our Offer Holder Days enable offer holders to get a feel for what studying and living at Queen Mary will be like. From hands-on lab sessions to topical lectures, campus tours to inspiring graduate talks, fieldwork showcases to lively Q&A sessions, our day is dedicated to showing you what being a part of one of the world’s top geography departments is all about.
The most important thing about the day is that you get to meet our staff and students. These are the people you’ll work alongside as you progress through your degree. It’s important you quiz them and find out why they believe that Queen Mary is the best place to earn your degree. We encourage you to attend these events as they are designed to help you make an informed choice.
Details about how to book your place will be sent to you shortly after you have been made an offer of a place to study at Queen Mary. Please note that this is an invitation-only event, exclusively for our offer holders. If you wish to attend please make sure to book your place using the link provided in the email that you'll receive from us. You can also bring a parent or carer.
The School of Geography receives hundreds of applications to study on its diverse and exciting programmes each year. As demand to study here is high and as these offer holder days usually get fully booked, we recommend that you book your place as soon as possible after receiving your invitation.
I firmed my offer as soon as I received it because I had fallen in love with the location, course and fieldwork opportunities. After coming to the Festival of Geography, I realised everyone was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was a joy and the course was exactly as I had expected. I just wanted to say thank you all for putting on such an amazing and useful day!

Queen Mary wasn’t originally my first choice, but the Festival of Geography helped me change my mind. Seeing all the passionate lecturers and getting a taste of what is like studying at the university guided me towards choosing Queen Mary
